115V mig welders are great to run .023 wire.and then the .035 bare wire has been used which cant get a best production.because the best setup is.023 bare wire with argon or co2 gas.for the .035 dont fit the thin metal.Personally, I have never had an issue with getting hot enough with .035 wire which will just make more spatter and will generally look like Fido's ass.</p> <p>the thickness of metal is different,the methods is different.for thick steel or stainless, welder figure stick that could probably stick weld one inch plate with 200 amps, use 5/32 inch rod, just use multiple passes. </p> <p>the thicker or thin metal are&nbsp;
